| | We wanted an all-stainless steel hood, and so it was a little bit surprising how wide the black strip across the top turned out to be. It turned out well, anyway, because with the switches on the black strip, you don't get fingerprints on the stainless steel. The controls work well and the light switch is easy to find by touch in a dark kitchen, to turn on. Installation was easy, and the fan seems to do the job when grilling where it smokes. The old fan we had couldn't handle the smoke and so the smoke alarm would go off down the hall, but not with this hood. Great to order with no sales tax!

| | I bought my original Broan range hood in 1981. I'm updating to stainless and this hood was a perfect fit. Easy to install and very effective.
