This is possible because the evaporative filter disperses invisible moisture and even traps unwanted minerals in your tap water so that white dust does not float in the air. This 3 gallon humidifier is designed with a clear water compartment so it is simple to know how much water is contained in it. A convenient fill door is located on the water compartment, which is capable of holding up to 1-3/4 gallons of water, with a daily output of 3 gallons. With that output, you can humidify a room of up to 1500 sq. ft.

Excellent product for the price..!

 We live in Colorado along the front range and it is dry, dry, dry in the winter. Even with snow on the ground. Our Lasko Humidifer works for our entire 1700 sq.ft. home. The best part about it is it puts such a fine mist into the air that nothing accumulates on the floor. If there is one negative, it would have to be that we have hardwood floors and have to run it on the low setting or it is too loud. On the positive side, the low setting is high enough for our home.
