VHR 1404 & VHR2004 - During the defrost sequence, the supply blower shuts down and the exhaust blower switches into high speed to maximize the effectiveness of the defrost strategy. The unit then returns to normal operation for 25 minutes, and continues to cycle

VHR1405R & CHR2005R - During the defrost sequence, its mechanism uses a motorized damper to temporarily block the incoming fresh air stream allowing the warm air from the home to circulate through the HRV. The exhaust blower shuts down and the supply blower switches into high speed to maximize the effectiveness of the defrost strategy. The unit then returns to normal operation for 25 minutes, and continues cycle.

The ventilation system delivers 67-200 CFM and operates quietly with 0.4 sones. The superior EBM motor has precise balancing to ensure operation is vibration-free. The insulated cabinet is made of galvanized steel with a baked powder-coat finish and 1" high-density polystyrene foam for quiet operation. The control board makes it easy to connect to existing HVAC equipment. The washable electrostatic air filters are easy to remove. The Whole House Ventilation System is UL listed and CSA certified and ships via UPS/FedEx Ground.
