The Peaceful Breeze Model 688 Air Purifier is the perfect choice for smaller rooms up to 270sq. ft. The air purifier combines a sponge pre-filter with a multi-layer HEPA and an activated carbon and multicatalyst filter to eliminate smoke, odors, germs and harmful gases, as well as controlling dust, allergens, bacteria and viruses at a 99.97% purification rate. The proven medical-grade HEPA filter technology consists of a submicroscopic glass fiber mesh that has the texture of blotting paper. HEPA filters trap 99.97% of all airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns in size, meaning that in tests only 3 out of every 10,000 particles are allowed to pass through the filter. Activated Carbon filters absorb chemicals and airborne pollutants like a sponge, and are so effective the military uses this technology to keep troops safe from harm. A timer can be set for 1, 2, 4 or 8 hour intervals, and the unit operates at a whisper quiet 25 dB. Thanks to the low operation volume this purifier is ideal for the office or dorm room, and since it can be used vertically as well as upright it integrates into any room, including bedrooms where the purifier is effective as a remedy against snoring.
