The unit cleans air with a three-stage filtration process. The outer prefilter removes dust and odors from the air before the HEPA filter removes more dust, pollen, bacteria, dander, viruses, cigarette smoke, radon daughters and more. The addition of a V.O.C. filter makes the unit even more effective, as it removes hazardous volatile organic compounds from the air (compounds that may emerge from things made with chemicals such as cleaners, paints, carpets and furniture).
Most of the filters in the unit will last at least half a year or more before needing replacement and the 3000’s 24-gauge cold rolled steel construction and durable metal screen will keep it well protected. With a motor tested to run for 50,000 continuous hours, the Portable 3000 is the solution to your need for cleaner air. This model can be purchased with or without a V.O.C. filter canister.
