Next, a Medium Particle Pre-Filter catches small to medium particles like molds, spores and pollen. Then, 15 lbs of a Proprietary Carbon Blend filter out chemicals, gases and odors, including sulfuric acid and ammonia. Next, 60 sq ft of Certified HEPA traps 99.97% of particles larger than 0.3 microns (micron=one millionth of a meter). And finally a HEGA carbon cloth provides high efficiency gas arrestance.
